Happy birthday my love ❤️✨ #supernovajames

One year ✨ My heart can hardly handle the fact that she’s a year old. It’s been a rough few days full of tears for me and mischievous giggles for her. She’s been secretly walking and I caught her the other day, while I stood there SHOCKED she laughed at me and...walked away. 🌻 She brings so much incredible joy and today is such a mix of emotions celebrating this milestone. Grief is weird. But I absolutely love that I get to see her grow older and catch little glimpses of what her sisters would be like ❤️ Happy Birthday my sweet and sensitive wild one ✨ #supernovajames

I wish everyone could spend a day living life through her goofy little personality 😍 She cracks me up constantly. The last few days she has been grabbing our faces and wanting us to cover her in kisses. She screams at the top of her lungs with sheer joy and then pauses and takes a few deep breathes as if it were a TON of work to exert herself. She speed crawls after her daddy and then does over exaggerated labored breathing...because obviously crawling fast is super hard work. • Even with all the joy, sneaky sadness presses in...especially when I’m overwhelmed with other things. While I’m so utterly thankful this baby is almost a YEAR old this month, I also woke up so very heavy and sad and couldn’t understand why. @mkcoker316 pointed out it’s probably grief...and she’s right. Grief that Mara should be here turning one with Nova. Grief that I’ll never get to celebrate Eisley or Ava’s first birthdays. Grief that my baby is growing up too quickly. Grief is so complicated and messy at times. 🌻 #iamahopemom

Eleven months ✨ I’m not even sure how she’s grown so fast, but she has. She’s trying to walk and has 9 words she uses consistently and probably another 9 more she’s keeping a secret until they’re perfected. Right now her funniest tricks are climbing, wiggling her tongue, blowing raspberries through her right cheek and somehow she figured out how to whistle 🤷🏻‍♀️😂😍 #supernovajames
