“being on the other side of the world while your grandma is dying…possibly one of the worst processes ever. i go to sleep wondering if she will still be fighting when i wake up. i spend the day wondering what is going on. sigh. death is never an easy process even when it is a long life lived that is passing away.

i woke up singing this song. and then the sun came up.”

“There is hope for the helpless
Rest for the weary
Love for the broken heart
There is grace and forgiveness
Mercy and healing
He’ll meet you wherever you are
Cry out to Jesus, Cry out to Jesus”

“These lyrics played while I was sitting at my grandma’s bedside again today. As I sat talking to her a reminiscing over the 26 years I’ve known her, this song gave me hope that He will meet her in these final hours. I cared for her when she went into her first assisted living home, I’ve talked to her about Jesus before. I’m pretty sure she would have asked me to paint her nails, she loved her nails painted pink.”
